After approval of the CAD design the model is then sent back to our own shop where every detail is completed. And, most of all, our jewelers are Jewelers of America Certified. Custom Designing Jewelry is created on the latest CAD cam in both Ft. They have CAD computers, mills and 3-D growing machines, a Pantograph model making machine, laser welders, and gemstone and diamond setting under microscopes. Most jewelers just buy catalog platinum mountings or use an outside casting service. They now offer skilled platinum casting in house another rare service for jewelry stores. In 1998, they purchased a very expensive and complicated Platinum casting system and added five phone lines. In 1997, they added fine Swiss watch sales and an in house watch and fine clock service center they offer everything from simple battery changes to full restorations. Since their 1997 renovation and expansion of the jewelry store, Grissom’s has been able to offer a greatly expanded list of products and services to their customers. He made his first buying trip to Belgium in 1962 and helped his father grow his business. Harry learned the jewelry business under his father’s watchful eye and found that he had a special gift for the purchasing and marketing of diamonds. After college, Harry returned to Dallas and worked for other retail jewelry stores until he joined his father’s business in 1955. As the business grew, Abram began selling diamonds, using his connections in Belgium from before the war. Bock Manufacturing Jeweler in a downtown Dallas storefront in 1948 and started his business repairing jewelry. For the past four generations and over 100 years, the Bock family tradition has been creating fine jewelry.
